I am one of the newer editions of AR glasses Xreal: Xreal One’s. These are certainly the most versatile pair of AR glasses that I have tried so far, and in fact they really come to life somewhere where you would expect: M4 iPad Pro, which runs iPados 26.
Why do I enjoy them
Usually, when you think about AR plug-in glasses, you use them for one of two things. It’s either mirroring your phone screen to have a movie or show on a massive display, or extend the notebook screen-a way to work with a much larger surface that would provide you with a 14-inch display (giving or take).
Usully, the iPad is not a big part of the equation, but I found that my Masefle loves Xreal One glasses using iPad.
Personally, I use the 11 -inch iPad Pro, and although this display size is great for the portability and use of a tablet that is a little short for productivity when I sometimes connect it to the magic keyboard.
Solution? Xreal One. Obviously, there are also external displays, but I have never been too excited about using my iPad at the table when I saw because I could only use Mac. Xreal One serves as a large external high -resolution display, and because it’s just peers of glasses that you can throw into the bag are also incredibly portable.
In addition, with the opening window iPados 26 on all supported iPad models, it is more useful to have an external display. Xreal One Blasses are a nice plug and playback, so once you plug them into the USB-C port iPad Pro, you’re off for the races. You can configure several options on glasses, but no application is required for setting, which I think is pretty nice.

Key specification
These glasses use micro-OLED panels, similar to those you would find on Apple Vision Pro. They are very clear and certainly very sharp. You get a 1920 × 1080 display on your eye, resulting in more than 4 million pixels. The displays also run at 120 Hz for smooth visual elements and wrap 600 nits brightness – although it certainly feels a little clear that it for me.
Xreal One menu of electrochromic dimming, allowing you to adjust how much light can pass by just clicking the button. You can Einders “Clear”, allowing you to go through all the light – “Shade” that adds the sole another shade or the “theater” faced from the glasses. It is really nice that you can effectively use them as a few completely detached glasses, in case you are out or what.
It is also available on IPD, allowing you to tune things for your own eyes. IPD (inter -capillary distance) misalignment is a key reason for motion illness containing XR, so this is an important function. Xreal also Totes built -in BOSE speakers with spatial sound support, although I am personally more of an AirPods guy and usually use built -in speakers on any of my devices.

Standing
In addition, Xreal One also offered tracking. Most of the AR peers, which the way you only have an anchoring display in the center of the glasses, so if you move your head, your content also moves with you. Although it may be desirable for certain uses, it can sometimes be unpleasant.
With the “Anchor” mode, you can keep your display in one place, so if you turn your head to look at something else, your content is not long. There is also a level of monitoring connected to “monitor” mode, so even if you prefer your content always in sight, it is a little gradual movement when it moves your head around, so it doesn’t feel that your content is just stuck in one position.
Last but not least, these glasses also offered the ability to run an ultra -wide display. I have not used this feature, but it is there if your thing is ultra -lated displays and you did not bother to buy.
The last thoughts
For only $ 499, this is definitely a remarkable value for every tea. They have always felt that cable AR glasses make great sense when you see when you get to reduce the added cost on board and battery. These definitely do a lot of key aspects of the experience and absolutely recommend them if you are looking for a well -refined pair of AR glasses without spending too much money.
Fortunately, Xreal One has not yet had an impact on raising prices related to prices. They were $ 499 when they launched, and still remain $ 499 today. The other Xreal glasses had an impact, but there are no news from now on.
